Delivery and pickup

We ship stoves, inserts, flue parts and accessories across the UK. Appliance freight is £35.99 incl. VAT, or free from £350 of appliances only. Firewood, pellets and compressed logs never count toward that threshold and are never free to deliver. The cart shows the freight line before you pay. Lead times below are a guide.

House or flat: where the driver stops

We deliver to houses and flats. The carrier drops the goods at kerbside or the closest point the lorry can reach (tail-lift on fuel pallets). No carry upstairs and no unpacking inside.

For a house delivery, tell us about a low gate or a narrow drive when you order.

Lead times

Preparation generally within 24 to 48 working hours after payment. Then home delivery in 7 to 9 working days (indicative), depending on region, stock and the carrier’s slot. Weekends and public holidays do not count.

No express delivery. The carrier may text or call to agree a delivery window.

How shipping is priced

1. Stoves, inserts, accessories (excluding fuels)

  • Flat shipping: £35.99 incl. VAT.
  • Delivery free from £350 of appliances and accessories (UK mainland and islands we accept at checkout). Fuels in the same order do not count toward £350.
  • Kerbside or property boundary: as close as the vehicle can reach. No carrying upstairs.

2. Wood fuel - pellets, firewood, compressed logs

Wood fuel is never free to deliver, whatever the order value. Freight follows the number of pallet units and the country. A half-pallet counts as half a unit (rounded up). Fuels do not count toward the £350 free appliance delivery threshold.

Islands, Highlands and other postcodes

Checkout is built for United Kingdom addresses. Highlands, islands and certain remote postcodes may show a higher freight line in the cart; that figure is what you pay. Channel Islands and other destinations outside mainland UK are not assumed: email [email protected] with the product link and the full address before you order. If your postcode is refused at checkout, write to us rather than forcing the address.

Pickup and collection

We are an online warehouse operation in Perth (Scotland). There is no shop counter or customer collection at The Old Bakery. All orders leave by carrier to the address you enter at checkout.

On delivery

Someone must be available to receive the goods. The driver leaves the parcel or pallet at kerbside or the closest safe point the vehicle can reach, not inside the house. Payment is on the website only; do not pay the driver. Check the shipment while the driver is there; note any visible damage on the carrier’s paperwork and email us with photos if anything is wrong.
