Explanatory diagram of the cast iron wood stove - BRONPI Etna 11.3 kW

The different systems of the cast iron wood stove - BRONPI Etna 11.3 kW

CLEAN GLASS SYSTEM (SCL): consists of air intake from outside the appliance (secondary air) directed toward the inner side of the glass, thereby improving combustion, preventing the glass from blackening quickly, and allowing a better view of the fire.

DOUBLE COMBUSTION SYSTEM (SDC): Thanks to this technology, it is possible to achieve a second combustion of the gases that were not burned during the first combustion. In this way, high efficiency and significant fuel savings are obtained.

About the supplier: The brand BRONPI is a company located near Cordoba, Spain. Innovative and high-performing, this brand specializes in hybrid and electricity-free stove models in order to meet the growing demand for autonomy, environmental friendliness, and cost savings for individuals.

Operating mode of the cast iron wood stove - BRONPI Etna 11 kW

The Etna cast iron wood stove operates in the same way as a classic wood stove or a fireplace.

Why choose a 10 kW wood stove?

Advantages of a 10 kW wood stove

Wood is the cheapest fuel on the market, and you will start saving money from the very first uses. A 10 kW wood stove, unlike a standard pellet stove, contains no electronics and therefore cannot break down.

Heating capacity of a 10 kW wood stove

A 10 kW wood stove will allow you, depending on your geographical location and the insulation of your home, to heat between 55 and 155 m². Here are some explanations that may help you determine what power you need to heat your house.

Efficiency of a 10 kW wood stove

The efficiency of a 10 kW wood stove is the ratio between the energy produced and the energy that is consumed. The efficiency of a wood stove can never reach 100% because the combustion of wood is never complete. Cheap pellet stoves achieve better efficiency, as pellets have a very good calorific value and have a very low moisture content compared to firewood logs.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Installation, Smoke Control rules, delivery, and the price on this page—plain answers before the reviews.

Do you install this stove?

We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.

We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.

How does stove delivery work at home?

Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.

Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.

Who sells and ships this product?

The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.

You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].

Is the product new?

What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.

How do you explain the displayed price?

The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.

Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.

Can I burn wood if I live in a Smoke Control Area?

That depends on your local authority and on whether this exact model is listed as a Defra exempt appliance for wood. Smoke Control Areas are set by the council, not by us; check with them (or their map) before you buy if you are unsure.

Exempt appliances still need dry Ready to Burn wood and correct use. An open fire is not a Defra-exempt route for wood. If the product title or datasheet does not state Smoke Control / Defra exemption, ask us with the model reference before you pay rather than guessing from a similar stove.

Will an Ecodesign stove be hard to light or smoke into the room?

Modern Ecodesign stoves run cleaner air paths than older free-burning models. Forum complaints about smoke into the room usually track back to wet wood, a cold or undersized flue, or lighting with the air controls shut too early, not to the label alone.

Use kiln-dried Ready to Burn logs, get a HETAS fitter to size the liner and terminal, and follow the maker's lighting sequence. If your chimney has always been weak, tell the installer before the stove is ordered; a new firebox will not fix a flue that will not draw.

How do I choose the right kW for my room?

Nominal output on the page is a test figure, not a promise for every house. Insulation, ceiling height, open-plan layout, and whether the stove is the only heat source all matter more than picking the biggest number on the filter.

A HETAS installer (or a heat-loss calculation) is the safe route. Oversizing leads to slumbering and dirty glass; undersizing means the stove runs flat-out and still leaves cold corners. We can confirm the datasheet output and external size so your fitter can check the room before you commit.

6 reviews for Wood stove cast iron - BRONPI Etna 11.3 kW

  1. James T. –

Airwash works if I use seasoned logs only. Green wood fogs the glass — my fault.

  2. Emily F. –

Wood stove draws cleanly; glass stays clear with dry wood.

  3. Emma W. –

Matches the listed kW. Secondary air easy to set. Ash pan empties without mess.
