Justus Agero W+ Wood Stove with Integrated Heat Storage
The Justus Agero W+ wood stove combines elegant design with innovative storage technology for environmentally friendly heating. With the integrated W+ heat storage, it provides an efficient heating experience that continues to radiate warmth for hours. The body is made of high-quality black steel, and the combustion chamber is made of vermiculite. With a nominal output of 7 kW, the wood stove heats spaces up to 144 m³. Below the combustion chamber is a large compartment for storing firewood. The matching door is included in the delivery.
The integrated glass cleaning system, an air-circulated handle, and an extra-large combustion chamber complete the picture of the modern and functional Agero W+. Alternatively, a side panel in soapstone is also available.
Special Features & Advantages
- Heat Storage W+
Above the combustion chamber, 90 kg of storage stones are installed, which absorb part of the combustion heat and continue to release it to the installation room after the fire has burned down. This way, you use less fuel and heat efficiently and environmentally friendly. - Multi-Point Locking
The multi-point locking prevents the combustion chamber door from warping due to high temperatures. The good tightness prevents unwanted air from entering and thus keeps the combustion quality in the stove stable. - Closed Wood Compartment
Below the combustion chamber is a closed wood compartment. Here you can store firewood protected from dust and always have it within reach. - Integrated Glass Cleaning System
A deliberately guided airflow prevents the condensation and deposition of dust particles and soot on the inside of the glass. This keeps the view of the cozy flame play clear. - Air-ventilated handle
The ventilated door handle remains cool even at high operating temperatures and allows safe handling without the risk of burns. - Extra-large combustion chamber
The spacious firebox can hold logs up to 50 cm in length and allows longer burn times without frequent refueling.
Application & Area of Use
The Justus Agero W+ wood stove, due to its high efficiency of 75.2%, is ideal for efficient heating. The fuel used is converted into heat particularly efficiently.
The stove is designed for 24-hour continuous operation and can be fueled with wood and wood briquettes. The flue pipe connection with a diameter of 150 mm can be made at the back or on top, offering flexible installation options. With a weight of 261 kg, the stove should be set up by two people - a fixed location should be planned in advance.
The minimum distances to combustible materials are 200 mm at the back and sides, and 800 mm at the front. The nozzle for the external air supply connection is already mounted on the stove, allowing for a room-air-independent installation.
Approvals & Standards
- DIN EN 13240 - European standard for fireplaces and inserts for solid fuels
- Ecodesign emission limits Stage II - Meets the requirements of Stage 2 of the Federal Immission Control Ordinance
- Approval for Austria according to 15a B-VG - Authorized for operation in Austrian buildings
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the Justus Agero W+ Wood Stove
For which room size is the Justus Agero W+ wood stove suitable? With a nominal heat output of 7 kW, the stove heats rooms up to 144 m³, which corresponds to about 60 m² with standard ceiling height. Due to the high efficiency of 75.2%, the heat is generated particularly efficiently. The integrated heat storage extends the heat release for several hours after the fire has gone out.
How long does the heat storage release heat after the burn? The 90 kg heavy storage stones absorb heat during combustion and continuously release it to the room for several hours. Depending on the firing and room conditions, the residual heat can last up to 12 hours. This reduces fuel consumption and ensures even room temperatures.
What length of firewood can be used in the Agero W+?The extra-large combustion chamber can accommodate logs with a maximum length of 50 cm. Allowed fuels are wood and wood briquettes. Oven-dry logs with a remaining moisture content of no more than 20% are recommended to achieve optimal combustion and high efficiency.
Can the wood stove be operated independently of the room air?Yes, the stove comes with a standard external combustion air connection. The nozzle is already installed and allows the connection of a 100 mm air supply pipe. This is particularly advantageous in well-insulated houses or with controlled ventilation systems. More about this in our magazine: Wood stove and room air connection - what does that mean?
Which firewood is best suited for the Justus Agero W+?It is recommended to use oven-dry firewood with a residual moisture content of a maximum of 20%, e.g. beech, oak, or ash. Wet or treated wood reduces efficiency and increases soot deposition. The maximum log length is 50 cm. The integrated wood compartment under the combustion chamber provides practical storage space for fuel supply. More about this in our magazine: Storing firewood correctly: Tips for optimal drying and storage
Is the Agero W+ suitable for continuous operation?Yes, the stove is designed for 24-hour continuous operation. The robust steel construction and the vermiculite lining of the combustion chamber are built for continuous load. The multi-lock mechanism of the combustion chamber door ensures consistently good tightness and stable combustion quality even during continuous operation.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Installation, Smoke Control rules, delivery, and the price on this page—plain answers before the reviews.
Do you install this stove?
We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.
We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.
How does stove delivery work at home?
Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.
Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.
Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.
Can I burn wood if I live in a Smoke Control Area?
That depends on your local authority and on whether this exact model is listed as a Defra exempt appliance for wood. Smoke Control Areas are set by the council, not by us; check with them (or their map) before you buy if you are unsure.
Exempt appliances still need dry Ready to Burn wood and correct use. An open fire is not a Defra-exempt route for wood. If the product title or datasheet does not state Smoke Control / Defra exemption, ask us with the model reference before you pay rather than guessing from a similar stove.
Will an Ecodesign stove be hard to light or smoke into the room?
Modern Ecodesign stoves run cleaner air paths than older free-burning models. Forum complaints about smoke into the room usually track back to wet wood, a cold or undersized flue, or lighting with the air controls shut too early, not to the label alone.
Use kiln-dried Ready to Burn logs, get a HETAS fitter to size the liner and terminal, and follow the maker's lighting sequence. If your chimney has always been weak, tell the installer before the stove is ordered; a new firebox will not fix a flue that will not draw.
How do I choose the right kW for my room?
Nominal output on the page is a test figure, not a promise for every house. Insulation, ceiling height, open-plan layout, and whether the stove is the only heat source all matter more than picking the biggest number on the filter.
A HETAS installer (or a heat-loss calculation) is the safe route. Oversizing leads to slumbering and dirty glass; undersizing means the stove runs flat-out and still leaves cold corners. We can confirm the datasheet output and external size so your fitter can check the room before you commit.

Thomas B. –
Wood stove draws cleanly; glass stays clear with dry wood.
Michael R. –
Cast iron feels solid. Door seal good. Living room reaches temperature in under an hour.
Olivia P. –
First embers after twenty minutes. Followed the instructions, otherwise it smokes on light-up.
Lucy S. –
Airwash works if I use seasoned logs only. Green wood fogs the glass — my fault.
Daniel K. –
Heavy unit; the carrier left it at the door. We installed it ourselves.
