Features & Advantages
- Includes W+ storage stone
The Faro W+ 2.0 is delivered with 85 kg of storage stones, which are placed above the combustion chamber. The storage mass absorbs part of the combustion heat during heating and continues to radiate it into the room after the fire has gone out - for extremely efficient fuel use. - Profiled combustion chamber lining
The combustion chamber is lined with profiled vermiculite molded parts. These ensure clean burning and optimal combustion through intensive swirling of the flue gases. - Snap-lock system for secure door closure
The combustion chamber door of the Justus Faro snaps shut when closing with a spring-loaded latch and remains securely closed. Opening is done simply by pulling the XXL bar handle, which is continuously cooled by airflows. - Closed Wood Compartment
Under the combustion chamber there is a closed wood compartment. Here you can store your firewood protected from dust and have it ready at hand for the next refill. - Triple Air System
The special system for combustion air supply ensures the optimal dosing of primary, secondary, and tertiary air supply. As a result, the Faro W+ 2.0 operates particularly efficiently and environmentally friendly. - Soapstone Cover Plate
The elegant soapstone top adds a natural, high-quality appearance to the stove and additionally stores heat for even heat distribution. - Solid cast iron door
The robust cast iron firebox door ensures a durable and tight seal of the combustion chamber for optimal combustion efficiency.
Application & Area of Use
With a weight of 306 kg, the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 requires a stable base and should be installed by two people. The compact dimensions of 1501 × 520 × 520 mm allow installation even in smaller rooms. The 150 mm flue connection can be made either on top or at the rear - the bottom edge to the center of the flue connection is 1106 mm.
A draft pressure of 12 Pa is required for operation. Optionally, an external air supply can be connected - you can find the matching connector as accessory in our shop. The stove is suitable for multiple occupancy (type 1) and can be used in 24-hour continuous operation.
Suitable fuels include firewood up to 33 cm in length, wood briquettes, and lignite briquettes. With 80% efficiency, the stove operates particularly efficiently and reaches an exhaust temperature of 302 °C at the connector. The appropriate accessories for your Justus stove, e.g., stove pipes for connection to the chimney, are of course also available in our shop.

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 Wood Stove
For what room size is the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 wood stove suitable? With a rated heat output of 7 kW, it heats rooms up to 144 m³ - which corresponds to about 50-60 m² of living space with a normal ceiling height. Thanks to the integrated 85 kg of storage stones, it continues to release heat for hours even after the fire has gone out, making it particularly suitable for well-insulated houses and open living areas.
Can I install the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 myself, or do I need a professional? The stove weighs 306 kg and should definitely be installed by two people. While the positioning itself can be done by yourself, the connection and installation must always be carried out by a professional and approved by the chimney sweep. Without this professional installation, the warranty is void. More on this in our magazine:Set up a wood stove yourself: Instructions, tips & chimney sweep approval
Which wood is suitable for the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 and how do I fire it up correctly?Use kiln-dried firewood with a maximum of 20% residual moisture and no more than 33 cm in length. Suitable hardwoods include beech, oak, or ash, as well as wood briquettes and brown coal briquettes. The triple air system automatically regulates the optimal air supply. Start with small amounts of wood and gradually increase. More on this in our magazine: Firing up a wood stove correctly - step by step
What makes the Snap-Lock system on the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 special? The snap-lock system ensures automatic, secure closing of the firebox door with a spring-loaded bolt. When closing, the door audibly clicks into place and remains reliably closed. To open, a simple pull on the air-cooled XXL rod handle is enough - no manual locking or unlocking required. The system significantly increases both safety and ease of use.
Do I necessarily need an external air connection for the Justus Faro W+ 2.0?No, an external air connection is optional. Without a connection, it draws combustion air from the installation room. However, an external air connection is recommended for very airtight buildings, controlled ventilation systems, or if local regulations require it. The suitable 100 mm connecting piece is available as an accessory and can be retrofitted at any time.
How does heat storage work in the Justus Faro W+ 2.0?The 85 kg storage stones are integrated above the combustion chamber and absorb part of the combustion heat while heating. After the fire has gone out, they release this stored heat evenly into the room over several hours. This significantly extends the heating effect and allows you to use the fuel much more efficiently than with conventional fireplaces.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Installation, Smoke Control rules, delivery, and the price on this page—plain answers before the reviews.
Do you install this stove?
We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.
We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.
How does stove delivery work at home?
Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.
Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.
Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.
Can I burn wood if I live in a Smoke Control Area?
That depends on your local authority and on whether this exact model is listed as a Defra exempt appliance for wood. Smoke Control Areas are set by the council, not by us; check with them (or their map) before you buy if you are unsure.
Exempt appliances still need dry Ready to Burn wood and correct use. An open fire is not a Defra-exempt route for wood. If the product title or datasheet does not state Smoke Control / Defra exemption, ask us with the model reference before you pay rather than guessing from a similar stove.
Will an Ecodesign stove be hard to light or smoke into the room?
Modern Ecodesign stoves run cleaner air paths than older free-burning models. Forum complaints about smoke into the room usually track back to wet wood, a cold or undersized flue, or lighting with the air controls shut too early, not to the label alone.
Use kiln-dried Ready to Burn logs, get a HETAS fitter to size the liner and terminal, and follow the maker's lighting sequence. If your chimney has always been weak, tell the installer before the stove is ordered; a new firebox will not fix a flue that will not draw.
How do I choose the right kW for my room?
Nominal output on the page is a test figure, not a promise for every house. Insulation, ceiling height, open-plan layout, and whether the stove is the only heat source all matter more than picking the biggest number on the filter.
A HETAS installer (or a heat-loss calculation) is the safe route. Oversizing leads to slumbering and dirty glass; undersizing means the stove runs flat-out and still leaves cold corners. We can confirm the datasheet output and external size so your fitter can check the room before you commit.

Megan K. –
Heavy unit; the carrier left it at the door. We installed it ourselves.
Ryan C. –
Wood stove draws cleanly; glass stays clear with dry wood.
Olivia P. –
Airwash works if I use seasoned logs only. Green wood fogs the glass — my fault.
Charlotte N. –
Matches the listed kW. Secondary air easy to set. Ash pan empties without mess.
