Justus Faro W+ 2.0 with integrated heat storage for long-lasting warmth
The Justus Faro W+ 2.0 is a modern 7 kW wood stove with integrated heat storage that efficiently heats rooms up to 144 m³. Heat storage stones integrated above the combustion chamber turn the stylish stove into a storage stove. The heat storage is designed so that the stove can be connected to the flue pipe both at the top and at the back. For the rear connection, please refer to the instructions in the user manual.
Numerous cladding options make the high-quality Justus wood stove can become an individual piece of furniture. Countertops made of steel, glass, and soapstone are available, and variants with side panels in soapstone, sandstone, or limestone are also offered. This version features an air-flow rod handle with a snap-lock system and a removable ash pan for easy disposal of the remaining fuel.
The stove is suitable for heating with logs, wood briquettes, and brown coal briquettes, and can be operated around the clock. The viewing window with integrated glass cleaning constantly provides a great view of the flames.
Features & Advantages
- Including W+ storage stone
The oven is delivered with 85 kg of storage stones, which are placed above the combustion chamber. The storage mass absorbs part of the combustion heat while heating and radiates it into the room even after the fire has gone out. This way, you use the fuel extremely efficiently. - Profiled combustion chamber lining
The combustion chamber is lined with profiled vermiculite moldings. These ensure a clean burn by causing an intensive swirling of the combustion gases. - Secure door closure thanks to Snap-Lock system
The combustion chamber door of the Justus Faro snaps shut with a spring-loaded latch when closing and remains securely locked. Opening is done simply by pulling on the XXL rod handle, which is continuously cooled by air currents. - Closed Wood Compartment
Below the combustion chamber there is a closed wood compartment. Here you can store firewood protected from dust. - Triple Air System
The special system for combustion air supply ensures optimal dosing of the primary, secondary, and tertiary air supply. As a result, the stove operates particularly efficiently and environmentally friendly. - Talc Stone Cladding
The noble soapstone cladding gives the stove a natural appearance and additionally stores heat. The natural material continues to emit pleasant warmth long after the fire has gone out.
Application & Use
With a nominal heat output of 7 kW, the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 is ideal for living spaces up to 144 m³. Thanks to the 24-hour continuous operation approval, you can use the stove continuously as a main heater.
The flue pipe connection with a diameter of 150 mm can be made either at the top or at the back. The connection height for rear connection is 1106 mm from the bottom edge. With a weight of 261 kg, the stove requires a stable, load-bearing surface. The compact dimensions of 1501 x 520 x 520 mm also allow placement in smaller rooms.
An external air connection is optionally possible. To connect an external air supply, the appropriate nozzle is required. You can get this as accessory in our shop. The maximum log length is 33 cm.
Approvals & Standards

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 Wood Stove
For which room size is the Justus Faro W+ 2.0 suitable? With a nominal heat output of 7 kW, the stove efficiently heats rooms up to a certain size. In well-insulated houses, the output is sufficient for somewhat larger, open living areas. Thanks to the 24-hour continuous operation approval, it can be used as the main heating source.
How long does the W+ heat storage continue to release heat after the fire has gone out?The 85 kg storage stones absorb heat while heating and continue to release it for hours after the fire has gone out. Depending on the charge, heat release can last up to 12 hours. This makes heating especially efficient and ensures even room temperatures.
Which wood is suitable for the Justus Faro W+ 2.0?Suitable options are firewood, wood briquettes, and lignite briquettes. The maximum length of firewood is 33 cm. Well-dried hardwood such as beech, oak, or ash with a residual moisture content below 20% is recommended. The closed wood compartment below the combustion chamber provides practical storage for fuel replenishment. More on this in our magazine:Buying Firewood: Tips for Quality, Price, and the Right Type of Wood
Can I set up the wood stove myself, or do I need a professional company? In principle, the installation can be done yourself; however, an inspection by the chimney sweep is mandatory before the first use. At 261 kg, you should work with two people and ensure a stable base. Important are the safety distances to combustible materials and the proper connection to the chimney. More on this in our magazine: Set up a Wood Stove Yourself: Instructions, Tips & Chimney Sweep Inspection
How does the snap-lock system on the firebox door work? The system operates with a spring-loaded locking bolt that automatically snaps into place when the door is closed. This keeps the door securely closed without the need to operate a separate lock. To open it, simply pull the air-flow XXL bar handle - the bolt releases automatically and the door opens.
What connection options are there for the flue pipe? The 150 mm flue pipe connection can be made either on the top or the rear. For a rear connection, the connection height is 1106 mm from the bottom edge of the stove. This flexible connection option makes it easier to integrate into existing chimney systems. An external air connection is also optionally possible - the corresponding nozzle must be ordered separately.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Installation, Smoke Control rules, delivery, and the price on this page—plain answers before the reviews.
Do you install this stove?
We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.
We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.
How does stove delivery work at home?
Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.
Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.
Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.
Can I burn wood if I live in a Smoke Control Area?
That depends on your local authority and on whether this exact model is listed as a Defra exempt appliance for wood. Smoke Control Areas are set by the council, not by us; check with them (or their map) before you buy if you are unsure.
Exempt appliances still need dry Ready to Burn wood and correct use. An open fire is not a Defra-exempt route for wood. If the product title or datasheet does not state Smoke Control / Defra exemption, ask us with the model reference before you pay rather than guessing from a similar stove.
Will an Ecodesign stove be hard to light or smoke into the room?
Modern Ecodesign stoves run cleaner air paths than older free-burning models. Forum complaints about smoke into the room usually track back to wet wood, a cold or undersized flue, or lighting with the air controls shut too early, not to the label alone.
Use kiln-dried Ready to Burn logs, get a HETAS fitter to size the liner and terminal, and follow the maker's lighting sequence. If your chimney has always been weak, tell the installer before the stove is ordered; a new firebox will not fix a flue that will not draw.
How do I choose the right kW for my room?
Nominal output on the page is a test figure, not a promise for every house. Insulation, ceiling height, open-plan layout, and whether the stove is the only heat source all matter more than picking the biggest number on the filter.
A HETAS installer (or a heat-loss calculation) is the safe route. Oversizing leads to slumbering and dirty glass; undersizing means the stove runs flat-out and still leaves cold corners. We can confirm the datasheet output and external size so your fitter can check the room before you commit.

Cast iron feels solid. Door seal good. Living room reaches temperature in under an hour.
Harry P. –
Heavy unit; the carrier left it at the door. We installed it ourselves.
Laura V. –
Matches the listed kW. Secondary air easy to set. Ash pan empties without mess.
Natalie B. –
First embers after twenty minutes. Followed the instructions, otherwise it smokes on light-up.
Laura V. –
Airwash works if I use seasoned logs only. Green wood fogs the glass — my fault.
