Justus Norta Pellet Stove with 8 kW and WiFi Control
The Justus Norta Pellet Stove is one of the few pellet stoves with comprehensive smart home integration and automatic burner pot cleaning - for those who appreciate comfortable heating without manual effort. With its timeless, rounded shape and rectangular viewing window, the pellet stove fits into living rooms, open living spaces, or modern single-family homes. The body is made of high-quality and durable steel. The sides are also made of steel and are available in black, Bordeaux red, taupe, or silk white, as well as in a soapstone version. Use the options menu to select your favorite design.
With a nominal output of 8 kW, it achieves a room heating capacity of 200 m³, making it suitable for larger living areas in well-insulated houses. The delivery includes height-adjustable feet, SmartCon WiFi module, and locking tool for the combustion chamber door.
Features & Advantages
- Temperature-dependent power control
The Norta is controlled based on the room or room air temperature. The stove considers a predefined room temperature as the target temperature and automatically regulates the combustion intensity to reach or maintain this temperature. In this way, the pellet stove ensures an even temperature in the installation room, so you can avoid frequent switching on and off. This protects the environment, reduces cleaning effort, and also saves fuel, and therefore money. - Practical control panel
On the top, there is a large control panel through which you can operate and monitor all functions of the device. Any problems and malfunctions are also displayed on the screen, allowing you to react quickly. - Individual time programming
Through the control panel on the Norta itself, via an optional remote control, or by smartphone, it is possible to program different switching on and off times for each day, every week, day and night, or for the weekend. Since the times can be chosen independently of each other, a wide variety of combinations are possible, which you can tailor to your very personal needs. - Integrated disc cleaning and automatic boiler pot cleaning
So that you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the fire, the manufacturer has equipped the Justus pellet stove with a glass cleaning system. A specifically directed airflow prevents the condensation and deposition of dust particles and soot on the inside of the glass. In addition, the stove has an automatic burner tray cleaning function. - WiFi control via smartphone app
The standard smartCON WiFi module allows remote control via smartphone or tablet. With the free "Oranier smartCON App" from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, you can control and monitor the stove from anywhere. - Soapstone cladding as a heat storage
The soapstone side cladding stores the heat and continues to release it evenly long after the fire has gone out - for lasting comfort without reheating.
Application & Area of Use
The Norta operates dependent on the room air in convection mode, meaning that the ambient air is drawn in by the convection ducts built into the stove, strongly heated, and then released back into the room. If necessary, the pellet stove can be equipped with a connection for an external combustion air duct. This is especially useful in particularly airtight rooms where the oxygen level is low. The advantage of the external combustion air supply is that it is not the heated room air that is used for combustion, but fresh air from the outside. The connection socket for external combustion air is located at theBack of the stove.
With a weight of 152 kg, the stove requires a stable, level surface and should be installed by two people. The minimum distances to combustible materials are 200 mm at the back and sides, and 700 mm at the front. The flue pipe connection is at the top with a diameter of 80 mm at a height of 1084 mm. With the help of programmable timers, the pellet stove can start heating before you get up or return home from work, or it can automatically reduce the temperature when you go to bed.
The spacious pellet container holds 21 kg and allows up to 32 hours of continuous operation at maximum burn time. The stove is approved for 24-hour continuous operation and achieves an efficiency of 87%. With a required draft pressure of 13 Pa, it is compatible with most chimney systems.
Approvals & Standards

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the Justus Norta Pellet Stove
For which room size is the Justus Norta Pellet Stove suitable? With a rated thermal output of 8 kW, the stove heats rooms up to 200 m³ in volume - this corresponds to approximately 80 m² of living space with a ceiling height of 2.50 m. Ideal for open living areas, large living rooms, or single-family homes with good insulation. In poorly insulated old buildings, the output is sufficient for correspondingly smaller areas.
Can I install the Justus Norta pellet stove myself? The connection must be carried out by a professional company, as the chimney, flue gas system, and combustion air must be properly connected. The installation itself is possible with DIY skills - however, note the weight of 152 kg and the minimum distances of 200 mm to walls and 700 mm to the front. The final acceptance is carried out by the chimney sweep.
How does the WiFi control on the Norta work? The smartCON WiFi module, included as standard, connects the stove to your home network. After installing the free "Oranier smartCON App," you can set the temperature, manage time programs, and monitor the operating status from anywhere. In addition to app control, a remote control is also available.
Which pellets can I use in the Justus Norta?Use only DINplus- or ENplus-certified wood pellets with a 6 mm diameter. These ensure optimal combustion, low emissions, and a long life for the stove. Inferior pellet material can lead to malfunctions, increased wear, and loss of warranty. More about this in our magazine: Storing pellets at home - tips & how to avoid common mistakes
What should I consider if there are problems with the pellet stove? The large display shows error codes and malfunctions directly. Common causes are an empty pellet container, clogged airways, or problems with ignition. First, check the pellet supply, ash box, and air supply. If problems persist, contact a professional - independent repairs can void the warranty. More on this in our magazine: Pellet Stove Troubleshooting: 10 Common Problems
How often does the Norta need maintenance? The automatic burner pot cleaning significantly reduces maintenance effort. Nevertheless, you should empty the ash box and clean the viewing glass weekly. Annual maintenance by a professional company is recommended - this includes checking seals, wear parts, and the exhaust system. The chimney sweep additionally checks the emission values twice a year.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Power cuts, noise, pellets, installation, and delivery—what buyers usually ask before ordering a pellet stove.
Do you install this stove?
We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.
We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.
How does stove delivery work at home?
Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.
Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.
Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.
Does a pellet stove need electricity, and what happens in a power cut?
Yes. Ignition, the auger that feeds pellets, and the combustion or convection fans all need mains power. When the supply drops, the stove shuts down; it will not keep heating like a simple wood stove.
If winter blackouts are common where you live, plan a suitable UPS or generator sized for the stove's stated draw, or keep a wood appliance as backup. We sell the stove; we do not supply backup power kits unless listed as a separate accessory on the site.
How noisy is a pellet stove day to day?
You will hear the auger and at least one fan. Convection (natural draft) models stay quieter than forced-air designs, but none are silent. Noise rises when the stove is pushing hard to reach set temperature and drops once it settles into a lower burn.
If quiet evenings matter, read the datasheet dB figure where the maker publishes one, and prefer convection over ducted forced air. Living with a sample in a showroom is ideal; online, treat "whisper quiet" marketing with caution.
What pellets should I use, and how often do I refill?
Stick to dry ENplus A1 (or the grade named in the manual). Damp pellets swell, jam the auger, and can wreck the feed motor. Store bags indoors off concrete, sealed, away from rain and garage damp.
Hopper size on the page tells you how long a fill lasts at a given output. A typical 15 kg bag is a full hopper on many room heaters; at high burn that may be under a day, at gentle heat a couple of days. Ash still needs emptying on a regular schedule even when the glass looks clean.
