The simple and at the same time modern Justus Sia Pellet Stove from Justus achieves an efficiency of more than 87% with a nominal output of 8 kW. With the pellet stove, you can easily heat a room volume of up to 200 m³. This corresponds to approximately 80-100 m² of living space with a standard ceiling height. The square pellet stove has a steel body and is available in various versions: Black Steel as well as Black Steel with ceramic details in Anthracite, Concrete Gray, or White. You can choose your favorite design via the variants menu.
The scope of delivery includes height-adjustable feet. In the models Norta and Sia, the SmartCon module is not included as standard. For these devices, the SmartCon WiFi module can be optionally purchased and used. The suitable module is listed in cross-selling, if available.
Special Features & Benefits
- Temperature-dependent power control
The Justus Sia pellet stove is either controlled by room guidance or depending on room air temperature. In doing so, the stove considers a predefined room temperature as the target temperature and automatically regulates the intensity of the combustion to reach or maintain this temperature. In this way, the pellet fireplace ensures an even temperature in the room, so that you can do without frequent switching on and off. This protects the environment, reduces cleaning effort, and also saves fuel and thus money. - Practical control panel
On the top, there is a large control panel through which you can control and monitor all functions of the device. The display also shows any potential problems and faults, allowing you to react quickly. - Individual time programming
Via the control panel on the Sia itself, with a remote control, or via smartphone, it is possible to program different switch-on and switch-off times for each day, each week, day and night, or for the weekend. Since the times can be selected independently of each other, a variety of combinations are possible that you can adjust to your very own personal needs. - Integrated glass cleaning and automatic burner pot cleaning
The heat-resistant glass ensures safety even at the highest temperatures. To allow you to enjoy an unobstructed view of the fire, the manufacturer has equipped the pellet stove with a glass cleaning system. A specifically directed airflow prevents condensation and the deposition of dust particles and soot on the inside of the glass. In addition, the stove features an automatic burner tray cleaning function. - Optional WiFi Module
The optional WiFi module smartCon allows remote control via smartphone. Details on operation can be found in the frequently asked questions.
Application & Area of Use
The Justus Sia pellet stove operates room air-dependent in convection mode, meaning that the surrounding air is drawn in by the convection ducts built into the stove, strongly heated, and returned to the room. If needed, the pellet stove can be equipped with a connection for an external combustion air line. This is especially useful in particularly airtight rooms where the oxygen content is low. The advantage of external combustion air supply is, for example, that it uses fresh air from outside for combustion instead of the heated room air. The connection nozzle for external combustion air is located on the back of the stove.
With a weight of 106 kg, the stove stands stable but should be set up by two people. The minimum distances to combustible materials are 200 mm at the back and sides, and 800 mm at the front. The flue pipe connection with a diameter of 80 mm is located at the rear. The stove is suitable for 24-hour continuous operation and requires a 230 V power supply.
You can also find suitable accessories for your Justus pellet stove in our fireplace shop, such as flue pipes for pellet stoves, spark protection plates, or utensils for chimney cleaning.
Approvals & Standards

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the Justus Sia Pellet Stove
What room size is the Justus Sia Pellet Stove suitable for?The Justus Sia Pellet Stove with 8 kW nominal heat output is designed for rooms up to 200 m³. In well-insulated houses, it can also efficiently heat larger open living areas. The high efficiency of 87% ensures particularly efficient heat output.
Can I control the Justus Sia Pellet Stove via smartphone?Yes, with the optionally available smartCon WiFi module, you can conveniently operate the stove via smartphone app. The module allows remote control of all functions, scheduling, and monitoring of the operating status. The connection cable for the module is located at the back of the stove. The smartCon module is not included in the standard delivery.
How long does the pellet stove burn with one filling? At maximum fill, you can expect up to 30 hours of burn time. The actual burn time depends on the selected power level. At low heating power, it burns longer, while at maximum power it burns correspondingly shorter. The stove automatically adjusts the amount of pellets according to the heat requirement. More on this in our magazine: Lifespan of a pellet stove - how long does it really last?
Does the pellet stove require an external air supply? The Sia operates by default using room air and uses the room air for combustion. Optionally, it can be equipped with a connection for external combustion air. This is particularly useful in tight, well-insulated rooms where the oxygen content is limited. The external air connection is located at the back of the stove and allows the use of fresh air from the outside.
How loud is the Justus Sia pellet stove during operation? The Sia operates with a convection system without an additional fan, which ensures particularly quiet operation. The main sources of noise are the automatic pellet feed and occasional cleaning cycles. During normal heating operation, it is noticeably quieter than pellet stoves with a convection fan. The temperature-dependent power control also reduces frequent on and off cycles. More on this in our magazine:How loud is a pellet stove really?
What minimum distances do I need to observe when setting it up?The prescribed minimum distances to combustible materials are: 200 mm at the back, 200 mm at the sides, and 800 mm at the front. These distances must be strictly adhered to in order to meet fire safety regulations. With a weight of 106 kg, it requires a stable, level surface. A spark protection plate in front of the stove is recommended. The flue pipe connection is at the back with a diameter of 80 mm.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Power cuts, noise, pellets, installation, and delivery—what buyers usually ask before ordering a pellet stove.
Do you install this stove?
We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.
We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.
How does stove delivery work at home?
Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.
Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.
Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.
Does a pellet stove need electricity, and what happens in a power cut?
Yes. Ignition, the auger that feeds pellets, and the combustion or convection fans all need mains power. When the supply drops, the stove shuts down; it will not keep heating like a simple wood stove.
If winter blackouts are common where you live, plan a suitable UPS or generator sized for the stove's stated draw, or keep a wood appliance as backup. We sell the stove; we do not supply backup power kits unless listed as a separate accessory on the site.
How noisy is a pellet stove day to day?
You will hear the auger and at least one fan. Convection (natural draft) models stay quieter than forced-air designs, but none are silent. Noise rises when the stove is pushing hard to reach set temperature and drops once it settles into a lower burn.
If quiet evenings matter, read the datasheet dB figure where the maker publishes one, and prefer convection over ducted forced air. Living with a sample in a showroom is ideal; online, treat "whisper quiet" marketing with caution.
What pellets should I use, and how often do I refill?
Stick to dry ENplus A1 (or the grade named in the manual). Damp pellets swell, jam the auger, and can wreck the feed motor. Store bags indoors off concrete, sealed, away from rain and garage damp.
Hopper size on the page tells you how long a fill lasts at a given output. A typical 15 kg bag is a full hopper on many room heaters; at high burn that may be under a day, at gentle heat a couple of days. Ash still needs emptying on a regular schedule even when the glass looks clean.

Charlotte N. –
Arrived palletised, no dents. Wifi module paired without fuss. Heat is even upstairs.
Matthew V. –
I undersized the room: too strong for a small space. Unit fine, my choice was wrong.
Sarah M. –
Support answered by email the same day about flue diameter. Goods only — we used a local fitter.
Laura V. –
Burns cleanly on ENplus A1 bags. Hopper fill lasts through a workday on eco.
Thomas B. –
Ash stays low if I keep a medium flame. Controls clear after one evening.
George A. –
Missed the side clearance on the product page. Had to move a cupboard. Our mistake.
