La Nordica Rossella R1 16 Ceramica Liberty - Panna with Triple Material Quality
The La Nordica Rossella R1 16 Ceramica Liberty - Panna combines Italian design with efficient heat through 9 kW nominal output and up to 258 m³ room heating capacity in elegant Panna ceramic cladding with a robust cast iron construction and convenient operation. With the triple material combination, you heat efficiently and achieve a long burning duration for lasting comfortable warmth.
The combination of cast iron firebox, enamelled cast iron for doors and top, and ceramic cladding provides stability, heat storage, and a high-quality appearance. The glass cleaning system and glass rinse keep the curved ceramic glass clear - for consistently beautiful flame patterns with reduced cleaning effort.
Special Features & Advantages
- Durable Material Quality
Fireplace made of cast iron, doors and top made of enameled cast iron, as well as cladding made of ceramic ensure stability, heat storage, and a high-quality appearance. - Efficient, Adjustable Combustion
With primary and secondary air regulation and a afterburning system, you heat efficiently and with low emissions - comfortably adjustable to your needs. - Everyday Comfort
The extendable ash box makes cleaning easier and allows for quick, clean maintenance during operation. - External Air Connection
Through the external air inlet with rear air supply connection, you optimize the air supply - ideal for tight buildings and a stable flame pattern.
Application & Area of Use
The La Nordica Rossella R1 16 Liberty Ceramic - Cream is suitable, with its room heating capacity of 258 m³, for living spaces of about 100-105 m² with a ceiling height of 2.45 m, depending on insulation and floor plan. You can heat with logs up to 30 cm in length or wood briquettes; the consumption is about 2.4 kg of wood per hour.
For installation, you need a 130 mm flue pipe with a top connection, a draft pressure of 12 Pa, and an external air supply connection at the back with a diameter of 120 mm. With defined safety distances, the stove can be well integrated into the living space while ensuring safe operation: 300 mm at the back, 400 mm on the sides, 1200 mm in front of combustible materials.
Due to the weight of 155 kg, at least two people should always be involved when setting up and moving; plan for a stable location. The appropriate accessories for your La Nordica stove, e.g. stove pipes for connection to the chimney, are of course also available in our shop.
Approvals & Standards
- CE - Meets the requirements of the European Declaration of Conformity
- EcoDesign Directive - Complies with EU regulations for environmentally friendly design of energy-relevant products
- Flamme Verte - UK quality label for environmentally friendly and efficient wood-burning systems
FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions about the La Nordica Rossella R1 16 Ceramica Liberty - Panna
What room size is suitable for the La Nordica Rossella R1 16 Ceramica Liberty - Panna? With a nominal heat output of 9 kW and a maximum room heating capacity of 258 m³, the stove is suitable for about 100-105 m² with a ceiling height of 2.45 m. The actual heating area depends on the building insulation, floor plan, and the desired room temperature.
What fuel can I use and how high is the consumption? The stove is approved for firewood up to 30 cm in length and wood briquettes. At nominal power, fuel consumption is about 2.4 kg per hour. For optimal combustion, use only dry, untreated wood with a maximum of 20% residual moisture.
What connection requirements do I need for installation?Required are a 130 mm flue pipe with top connection, a chimney with at least 12 Pa draft, and an external rear air connection with a diameter of 120 mm. The safety distances are: rear 300 mm, sides 400 mm, front 1200 mm from combustible materials.
How efficiently does the stove operate and what emission values does it achieve? The efficiency is 86% and corresponds to energy efficiency class A+. Thanks to afterburning, glass cleaning, and separate primary/secondary air, it achieves very low dust emissions of only 10 mg/m³ and meets the EcoDesign directive.
How do I correctly start the La Nordica Rossella R1 16 Ceramica?Start with dry kindling and fire starters with the primary air open. After the fire catches, reduce the primary air and adjust using the secondary air. The separate air control allows optimal adaptation to different burning phases. More on this in our magazine: Properly starting a stove - step by step
What should I consider when setting up the 155 kg stove?Plan a stable base and always set up the stove with two people. Check the load-bearing capacity of the floor and the access through doors and stairs in advance. Professional installation by a stove fitter is recommended. Delivery and shipping

Delivery and tracking
Orders leave our Perth warehouse for the UK address on your order. Heavy appliances and fuel go on a pallet and stop at kerbside (or the closest firm ground the lorry can reach).
- Preparation: usually within 24 to 48 working hours after payment.
- Transit: about 7 to 9 working days after the carrier collects, depending on region and stock. Weekends and bank holidays do not count.
- Shipping costs: appliances £35.99 incl. VAT, or free from £350 of appliances. Firewood and pellets use pallet rates and are never free. Delivery policy.
- Tracking: emailed when the carrier takes the goods.
Returns and refunds
- Cooling-off: 14 days under UK distance-selling rules. We also take unused, resaleable returns up to 45 days. Details on the Returns page.
- Refund: started after we receive and check the return.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Fit, returns, compatibility, who we are, and what the price covers on accessories.
Does this accessory fit my appliance?
Check the compatible models listed on this page or in the maker's spare-parts diagram. Wifi modules, frames, air kits, and benches are often brand- and series-specific even when they look universal.
Email the stove model and serial plate photo to [email protected] if the listing is ambiguous. Guessing the wrong frame or wifi card wastes a week in returns.
Can I return it if the size is wrong?
Unused accessories in resalable condition can usually follow our returns process within the period stated in the terms, provided they were not specially ordered as non-stock. Opened electrical modules and cut flue parts are harder.
Measure twice against the datasheet before you open sealed kits. Carriage on returns may be yours unless we sent the wrong SKU.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
Parts and accessories are priced as the specific reference on this page, often from maker stock rotations or end-of-line batches while remaining new.
Small parts usually ship with the same appliance freight rules when ordered with a stove. Alone, checkout shows the shipping line before payment. Fuels never pull the order into free appliance delivery.
Will a wifi or control module work with my exact software version?
Makers revise boards and app firmware. The module on this page is the current spare for the listed series; older stoves sometimes need a different revision.
Send us the appliance model and, if you have it, the electronics board code from the manual or sticker. We would rather confirm than ship a module that pairs with nothing.
Do you fit frames, benches, or air kits?
No. We supply the part. Mechanical fitting, electrical isolation, and any flue or duct changes stay with your installer or a competent technician.
Forced-air kits in particular need correct duct sizing and fire-safe routing; that is not a carton-open DIY if you lack the skill.
What if the part arrives damaged?
Photograph the outer packaging and the part before you discard the box, note the delivery paperwork, and email us within 48 hours with the order number. That is the same evidence path we use for stove crates.
Do not install a bent frame or a cracked ceramic side and then claim later; fitting destroys the return route.

Heavy unit; the carrier left it at the door. We installed it ourselves.
Emily F. –
Matches the listed kW. Secondary air easy to set. Ash pan empties without mess.
Thomas B. –
Wood stove draws cleanly; glass stays clear with dry wood.
Benjamin Q. –
Airwash works if I use seasoned logs only. Green wood fogs the glass — my fault.
