is a small company committed to programs in the UK
Ordering two pallets here is a simple choice: your money goes to the wood, not anything else.
Why order the SimplyPELLETs in lots of 2 pallets?
Quality at the right price, to cover the entire season! With over 13 years of expertise in the sale and distribution of wood pellets, The Stove Centre decided to create its own brand. Two pallets of SimplyPELLET cover a season without having to reorder urgently. The entire identity of The Stove Centre is in this pellet: specs above the standards, a price adjusted as fairly as possible.
The moisture content below 8% exceeds the DINplus and ENplus A1 requirements - which directly translates to better performance in your stove or boiler.
SimplyPELLET is produced in the UK: The pellets are manufactured on a UK production line, from wood sourced from sustainably managed UK forests. Two pallets equal about two tons of renewable and local energy.
A DINplus certification: The production plant is inspected and certified by the DINcerto organization. And the specifications measured during production exceed the thresholds required by the standard - not just compliant, above.
A 100% softwood pellet: The types of wood used are exclusively softwoods, which ensures optimal compatibility with pellet boilers and stoves, and a slightly higher calorific value than hardwood pellets of the same mass.
Pellet performance
The Stove Centre
Specifications above the standards for two tons that really heat
Moisture content below 8% - and we do even better
ENplus and DINplus require less than 10%. In production, we measure below 8%. A dry pellet means more complete combustion and fewer deposits in your system.
Ash content measured below 0.5%
The standard requires less than 0.7%. We regularly measure 0.3% at the factory's output. Low ash means less cleaning - and proof that the combustion is efficient.
Calorific value above 4.8 kWh/kg
Two tons of pellets at this calorific power means a fully covered winter with margin to spare.
Durability above 98%
The standard requires more than 97.5%. We measure over 98% at the factory. A mechanically resistant pellet arrives intact in your silo - without sawdust at the bottom of the bag.
100% UK-made
A DINplus certified factory,
two tons of wood from our region
100% softwood
Softwood species ensure the best compatibility with pellet appliances on the market and release slightly more energy than hardwood pellets at the same weight.
No additives
100% wood, 100% natural. The two pallets you receive contain pure pellets, sourced from sustainably managed UK forests. Nothing else.
Certified DINplus
The factory is audited and certified by DINcerto, the organization that issues DINplus certificates. A factory certification - not just a product certification - which guarantees consistent quality in every batch produced.

Delivery and shipping

Delivery and tracking
Orders leave our Perth warehouse for the UK address on your order. Heavy appliances and fuel go on a pallet and stop at kerbside (or the closest firm ground the lorry can reach).
- Preparation: usually within 24 to 48 working hours after payment.
- Transit: about 7 to 9 working days after the carrier collects, depending on region and stock. Weekends and bank holidays do not count.
- Shipping costs: appliances £35.99 incl. VAT, or free from £350 of appliances. Firewood and pellets use pallet rates and are never free. Delivery policy.
- Tracking: emailed when the carrier takes the goods.
Returns and refunds
- Cooling-off: 14 days under UK distance-selling rules. We also take unused, resaleable returns up to 45 days. Details on the Returns page.
- Refund: started after we receive and check the return.
Frequently asked questions about this product
Moisture, pallet drop-off, storage, who we are, and what the price covers.
Is this Ready to Burn / dry enough?
Packaged firewood sold in small volumes in England must meet the Ready to Burn rules (under 20% moisture) when that scheme applies. Pellet lines on this site are sold to the grade shown on the page (commonly ENplus A1).
Wet fuel wastes heat, dirties glass, and in pellet appliances can swell and jam the auger. If a bag arrives torn and rain-soaked, refuse the wet stock with the driver or photograph it and email us within 48 hours with the order number.
Is delivery on a pallet, and can the lorry reach me?
Fuel usually arrives on a pallet to kerbside or the nearest firm ground the truck can reach. Drivers will not carry 15 kg bags up stairs or across a muddy lawn as a standard service.
If you live on a narrow lane, have a soft verge, or need a smaller vehicle, email us before you pay. Access failures and wet torn bags are the complaints we see most on fuel forums; flagging access early avoids a wasted journey.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
Fuel prices follow the grade, bag count, and pallet make-up shown on this page. Firewood, pellets, and compressed logs never count toward the £350 free appliance delivery threshold, and fuel freight is never free whatever else is in the cart.
The cart shows the fuel shipping line before you confirm. We do not take cash from the driver, and we do not offer depot collection on this site.
How should I store pellets or logs once they arrive?
Keep bags sealed, indoors or under a proper cover, off damp concrete. A leaky shed or open porch is enough humidity to ruin a winter's pellets.
Logs need airflow if you buy larger volumes; Ready to Burn sealed nets are meant to stay closed until use. Do not stack fuel against the stove body.
Do I pay the driver for the wood or pellets?
No. The order is paid online before dispatch. The driver is not owed cash or a card payment for fuel or freight.
If someone at the door asks for money beyond a documented surcharge you already agreed with us in writing, refuse and contact us with the order number.
What if bags are torn or the pallet is wet?
Stay with the delivery, note dated reservations on the consignment note, photograph the damage, and email [email protected] within 48 hours. That is how carrier claims for fuel actually move.
Accepting a soaked pallet without notes makes replacement harder. Dry bags that are only scuffed on the outer wrap are usually fine; refuse fuel that has been sitting in water.

Dust low when pouring. Ash is fine and pale — as expected for A1.

Burns cleanly in our stove. Stored indoors after delivery.
