Imagine gentle and comforting warmth quickly spreading throughout your living room, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, even on the coldest days. This stove does more than just heat; it transforms your space into a true cocoon of comfort where it is good to live.

Massive Double-Wall Construction for Optimal Safety

The Wamsler SAM wood stove is designed with a massive double-wall construction that not only provides rapid heat distribution but also increased safety. This ingenious design reduces the required safety distances, allowing you to place your stove where you need it most without compromising your space. In this way, you enjoy powerful heating while keeping peace of mind, knowing that your stove is both efficient and safe.

An Eco-Friendly and Economical Combustion System

Thanks to its triple air intake system, the Wamsler SAM stove offers optimal combustion. Not only does the glass remain practically soot-free, but wood and briquettes burn more efficiently and ecologically. Less residue, less cleaning, more time to enjoy the heat. You contribute to environmental protection while saving on your wood consumption. Another reason to choose a stove that respects both your budget and the planet.

Elegant and Practical Design for All Interiors

With its elegant door handle and wide combustion chamber, the Wamsler SAM stove combines practicality and aesthetics. Its classic black finish blends harmoniously with any style of decor, whether contemporary, rustic, or minimalist. Every detail is designed to make daily use enjoyable and effortless. From loading the wood to adjusting the flame, everything is designed for your comfort and pleasure.

An Innovative and Durable Combustion Chamber

The heart of the stove, its firebox lined with chamotte, is a model of ingenuity. With dimensions of 300 mm in height, 390 mm in width, and 290 mm in depth, it allows wood to burn efficiently while ensuring exceptional durability. A sturdy cast iron grate and a galvanized ash drawer make maintenance easier, so you spend less time cleaning and more time relaxing in front of the fire.

Practical Storage for Your Daily Comfort

Below the firebox, a wood storage compartment provides a convenient space to keep your wood within reach. No need to go out into the cold to reload your stove. With the Wamsler SAM, everything is designed to simplify your daily life and make every moment more comfortable.

Frequently asked questions about this product

Installation, Smoke Control rules, delivery, and the price on this page—plain answers before the reviews.

Do you install this stove?

We do not install stoves or flue systems ourselves. Perth Stove Centre Ltd supplies the appliance and arranges carriage to your address. A qualified installer registered with HETAS (or an equivalent competent-person scheme) must fit the stove, connect the flue, and certify the work against Building Regulations Part J where that applies in your area.

We can confirm external dimensions, shipping weight, and the nominal heat output from the manufacturer datasheet so your fitter can check room size and liner diameter before you commit. Smoke Control Area authorisation, planning constraints, and grants that need an installer's invoice sit outside this online sale. Most buyers order the stove here and book the fitter once a delivery week is known.

How does stove delivery work at home?

Orders on this site leave our UK warehouse for the delivery address you enter at checkout. Deliveries outside the United Kingdom need an email agreement before payment, because carrier rules differ. Palletised stoves and inserts are handed over at kerbside or the nearest firm ground the HGV can reach. The driver does not carry units upstairs, through narrow hallways, or across soft ground without prior arrangement.

Before you pay, compare the pallet weight and crate size on this page with your doorway, path, and any steps. If access is tight, tell us when you order. When the goods arrive, inspect the packaging while the driver is still there. If the crate is crushed, torn, or clearly mishandled, write dated reservations on the delivery note (not a vague "subject to unpacking" line), take photographs, and email [email protected] within 48 hours with your order number so we can open a carrier claim.

Who sells and ships this product?

The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.

You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].

Is the product new?

What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.

Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.

How do you explain the displayed price?

The catalogue mixes stoves, inserts, flue parts, and accessories from manufacturer end-of-line batches and scheduled stock rotations. The goods stay new; when the factory ships retail packaging, that is what arrives on the pallet.

Carriage for qualifying appliances is £35.99 including VAT, or free when the appliance subtotal in your basket reaches £350. Kiln-dried firewood, pellets, and other fuel lines never count toward that threshold. Checkout shows the exact shipping line before you pay. No shop pickup, and nothing is settled with the carrier at the door.

Can I burn wood if I live in a Smoke Control Area?

That depends on your local authority and on whether this exact model is listed as a Defra exempt appliance for wood. Smoke Control Areas are set by the council, not by us; check with them (or their map) before you buy if you are unsure.

Exempt appliances still need dry Ready to Burn wood and correct use. An open fire is not a Defra-exempt route for wood. If the product title or datasheet does not state Smoke Control / Defra exemption, ask us with the model reference before you pay rather than guessing from a similar stove.

Will an Ecodesign stove be hard to light or smoke into the room?

Modern Ecodesign stoves run cleaner air paths than older free-burning models. Forum complaints about smoke into the room usually track back to wet wood, a cold or undersized flue, or lighting with the air controls shut too early, not to the label alone.

Use kiln-dried Ready to Burn logs, get a HETAS fitter to size the liner and terminal, and follow the maker's lighting sequence. If your chimney has always been weak, tell the installer before the stove is ordered; a new firebox will not fix a flue that will not draw.

How do I choose the right kW for my room?

Nominal output on the page is a test figure, not a promise for every house. Insulation, ceiling height, open-plan layout, and whether the stove is the only heat source all matter more than picking the biggest number on the filter.

A HETAS installer (or a heat-loss calculation) is the safe route. Oversizing leads to slumbering and dirty glass; undersizing means the stove runs flat-out and still leaves cold corners. We can confirm the datasheet output and external size so your fitter can check the room before you commit.

3 reviews for Wood stove Wamsler SAM 6 kW

  1. Megan K. –

Airwash works if I use seasoned logs only. Green wood fogs the glass — my fault.

  2. Grace L. –

Matches the listed kW. Secondary air easy to set. Ash pan empties without mess.

  3. Sarah M. –

Cast iron feels solid. Door seal good. Living room reaches temperature in under an hour.
