Ready to Burn — suitable for UK domestic heating when stored dry.
High-performance firewood logs are revolutionizing wood heating.
This wood is made from the best hardwood species.
It is split and dried to less than 20% moisture content.
This firewood lights easily thanks to its nice sizes and very low moisture content.
They guarantee a low ash content (up to 3 times less than naturally dried wood).
90% of the logs have a size between 5 and 15 cm.
The species present are oak, hornbeam, beech, and ash.
The remaining logs will be larger with sizes ranging from 15 to 18 cm.
You will find in your bundle smaller pieces of wood that can be used to start the fire.
These, which could not be removed by screening (sorting), are offered and not counted in the volume.
According to the originating factory, this product can be delivered to you in plastic bale or net.
If you are looking for clean, debarked wood that is easy to handle, this is the wood you need.
Hardwood, ultra-dry, well split, small section and clean. (Group H1 G1 and drum-brushed by debarker) High-performance wood for fewer particle emissions.
Easy to use thanks to logs placed loosely on a pallet.
Easy ignition, quick and constant heat throughout the fire.
It will produce strong, consistent heat and a beautiful flame as soon as it is lit.
High-performance logs are dust-free and therefore clean and easy to use.
You will need to empty your ashtray less often, and the glass will blacken much more slowly.
Little tips for using this wood well: Place one or two logs in the middle of your fireplace. Add kindling and a fire starter. Light it using a match on the fire starter. You will only have to enjoy a good fire.

Frequently asked questions about this product
Moisture, pallet drop-off, storage, who we are, and what the price covers.
Is this Ready to Burn / dry enough?
Packaged firewood sold in small volumes in England must meet the Ready to Burn rules (under 20% moisture) when that scheme applies. Pellet lines on this site are sold to the grade shown on the page (commonly ENplus A1).
Wet fuel wastes heat, dirties glass, and in pellet appliances can swell and jam the auger. If a bag arrives torn and rain-soaked, refuse the wet stock with the driver or photograph it and email us within 48 hours with the order number.
Is delivery on a pallet, and can the lorry reach me?
Fuel usually arrives on a pallet to kerbside or the nearest firm ground the truck can reach. Drivers will not carry 15 kg bags up stairs or across a muddy lawn as a standard service.
If you live on a narrow lane, have a soft verge, or need a smaller vehicle, email us before you pay. Access failures and wet torn bags are the complaints we see most on fuel forums; flagging access early avoids a wasted journey.
Who sells and ships this product?
The seller is Perth Stove Centre Ltd, a company registered in Perth, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. We trade as a specialist hearth and solid-fuel retailer: we hold stock, prepare orders, and ship the reference shown on this page. We are not a marketplace listing other people's inventory. Registered office, company number, and contractual terms are in our legal notice.
You buy on thestovecentre.com, pay by card before dispatch, and we deliver to the mainland UK address on your order confirmation. No walk-in counter, no depot collection, and no cash or card payment to the driver. Sizing, lead times, or access questions before checkout: [email protected].
Is the product new?
What you see here is normally current manufacturer stock, supplied new and in the maker's factory packaging when the factory still provides one. Ex-display, end-of-line, or refurbished lines are uncommon on this catalogue; when they do appear, the product page states that in plain words in the description.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply if the goods arrive faulty or not as described. Keep the email confirmation and invoice. Where the manufacturer publishes a warranty for this reference, that warranty sits alongside for eligible parts under the maker's own registration rules and time limits.
How do you explain the displayed price?
Fuel prices follow the grade, bag count, and pallet make-up shown on this page. Firewood, pellets, and compressed logs never count toward the £350 free appliance delivery threshold, and fuel freight is never free whatever else is in the cart.
The cart shows the fuel shipping line before you confirm. We do not take cash from the driver, and we do not offer depot collection on this site.
How should I store pellets or logs once they arrive?
Keep bags sealed, indoors or under a proper cover, off damp concrete. A leaky shed or open porch is enough humidity to ruin a winter's pellets.
Logs need airflow if you buy larger volumes; Ready to Burn sealed nets are meant to stay closed until use. Do not stack fuel against the stove body.
Do I pay the driver for the wood or pellets?
No. The order is paid online before dispatch. The driver is not owed cash or a card payment for fuel or freight.
If someone at the door asks for money beyond a documented surcharge you already agreed with us in writing, refuse and contact us with the order number.
What if bags are torn or the pallet is wet?
Stay with the delivery, note dated reservations on the consignment note, photograph the damage, and email [email protected] within 48 hours. That is how carrier claims for fuel actually move.
Accepting a soaked pallet without notes makes replacement harder. Dry bags that are only scuffed on the outer wrap are usually fine; refuse fuel that has been sitting in water.
