This pallet is delivered to your home. The delivery person will call you and arrange a home appointment on the day that suits you. Pallet delivery is clean and fast.

The advantage of using logs with less than 17% moisture

Guaranteed moisture content:

• Steamed logs are also called premium logs or high-performance logs, because they have been passed through a biomass oven which dries the wood even better than if it had been air-dried for 4 years. The moisture content generally reaches around 17%.
• The moisture content of the compressed log is between 8 and 10%, so even drier!!

In both manufacturing processes, the moisture content can be guaranteed because it is controlled by sensors and is not simply inferred from an estimate of the drying time required.

So optimal combustion

The low moisture content of wood directly indicates the amount of energy it contains and will release in a fire. Dry logs will improve the quality of combustion on one hand, will quickly raise the temperature high in the fireplace, which allows the fireplace to operate at high efficiency, and thus achieve a more complete combustion.

Made from hardwood from sustainably managed UK forests

Our split logs are produced exclusively from hardwood species, details are in the technical specifications section of this page. (deciduous trees such as beech, oak, ash, hornbeam). These deciduous species produce dense embers and therefore have a long burning time.

Tips for using compressed logs WITH firewood

With these two products in your stock, how can you properly use densified logs alongside firewood? It's very simple, here are a few examples:

• start your fire with the compressed wood, since it is the driest it will ignite even faster, and quickly raise your fireplace to temperature, then reload with one or two pieces of regular firewood
• do you have light embers and need to revive your fire? cut two pieces of compressed logs and place them near the embers; they will ignite quickly
• if you want to treat yourself to an authentic moment with the sight of beautiful traditional logs in the fire, prefer wood logs
